CitationAir Recognized with Two Prestigious Creative Marketing Awards

GREENWICH, CT., September 15, 2010 – CitationAir by Cessna (http://www.citationair.com), a leader in private jet transportation solutions, announced it has received two top honors from the 2010 PROMO Interactive Marketing Awards™, created by PROMO Magazine and the Interactive Media Council.

The two awards were for CitationAir’s 2009 rebranding campaign, which unveiled the company’s newly evolved business model and rebranding under its new name, CitationAir by Cessna. To support this rebranding effort, CitationAir teamed up with Ryan Partnership to develop a new website, direct mail and sales collateral.

“We’re thrilled that our marketing campaign, which was so successful in engaging new customers, has also been recognized by the creative marketing industry,” said Woody Harford, Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of CitationAir. “The Interactive Marketing Awards reflect CitationAir’s commitment to serving our customers with innovative programs and services that exceed expectations.”

CitationAir and Ryan Partnership’s collaboration, which won first place in the “Internet-based Trial Recruitment” category, focused on showcasing the new branding and providing prospective clients with a user-friendly, online destination to quickly obtain the information needed to compare and assess CitationAir’s services.

The direct marketing and sales collateral included an elegant “Thank You” box that, when opened, revealed an iPod Touch device that directed the recipient to press play. The devices were preloaded with a video from CitationAir CEO Steve O’Neill explaining the reason behind the company re-launch.

CitationAir was also recognized with an Outstanding Achievement award in the “Lifestyle” category for the same program from the Interactive Media Awards.

The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding work. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet and offer winners a boost in marketing and exposure. IMC serves as the primary sponsor and governing body of the Interactive Media Awards, establishes the judging system and provides the judges for the competition.
